Senior Pastor, Brittney Moore   //   Children's Pastor, Tim Moore

Brittney grew up just over the river in Waterford, NY. She graduated from Siena College in 2010 with a degree in History and a calling to serve God in full-time ministry. Not knowing exactly what that meant, Brittney began serving at the Alpha Pregnancy Care Center and accepted a part-time position as the church administrator of the Vineyard Church. Through the leadership of other pastors in the Vineyard, God prepared Brittney to shepherd His people. In 2015, Brittney was licensed as an associate pastor at the church. When John announced his desire to move on, the Lord laid on the hearts of others that she should assume the role of senior pastor. On November 13th, 2016, Brittney became the third senior pastor of Spindle City Vineyard Church.

Tim grew up in Schenectady, NY with his parents and 5 siblings. He graduated from Schenectady Christian School in 2011 and went to Evangel University to get his degree in Sport Management, with a minor in Biblical Studies. After graduating, Tim returned to the Capital Region and began pursuing a career at Youth for Christ. He became the Children's Pastor at Spindle City Vineyard in April 2016.

Tim and Brittney met at the Vineyard, serving alongside one another. Their vision for their marriage and their ministry is to put down roots, invest deeply, and make a long-term impact for Jesus in the City of Cohoes. They enjoy working out, playing with the world's best dog (Mila!), and sharing meals with new and old friends.

Worship Pastor, Chris Milkins   //   Creative Director, Hannah Milkins

Chris was born and raised in Schenectady, New York. After attending private school he went on to complete an Associates Degree in Music at Schenectady County Community College in 2009 and later completed a one year program at Elim Bible Institute in 2011. The son of a recovered addict turned evangelist, Chris saw the power of the gospel to transform lives and heal families early in his childhood. Worship has always been a large part of his life and he formed his first worship team in High School with a group of friends at his church. This group would go on to ignite his passion for ministry and also happened to be where he connected with his future wife Hannah, who he married in 2013.

Hannah was born and raised in Albany, New York. She studied Fine Arts/Illustration and graduated from Sage College of Albany in 2011 with her B.F.A. and a minor in business. The daughter of an inner city pastor, Hannah saw the reality of the love of Christ and gave her heart to Jesus at a young age.

In 2015 God called Chris and Hannah to the City of Cohoes. Together they have a passion to see the City of Cohoes transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and renewed from the inside out by the gospel. You can now find Chris buried in his ever growing collection of commentaries and theological study books, teaching small group or preaching and leading worship on Sunday mornings. Hannah now works as a coordinator at The Cohoes Music Hall and enjoys being involved in the life of the community as well as serving at Vineyard through worship, small groups and helping members get connected into the life of the church.

Spiritual Renewal Pastor, Johonna Uber

Johonna was born in Allentown, PA. As a pastor’s kid, she moved often, spending most of her childhood in Pennsylvania and Maine. Johonna graduated from high school in Old Town, ME and moved to Albany to continue her education. She spent a delightful semester abroad studying in Israel at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which helped her complete her Bachelors in Judaic Studies from SUNY Albany. Currently, Johonna works as a manager in retail. She enjoys baking gluten free cupcakes and laughing.

La Vina, Perla Zamitez-Restrepo

Perla was born and raised in Mexico. She is married and has three children: Jacobo, Nicolas and Isabella. She gave her life to Jesus when she was 19 years old, while studying at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, where she got her BA in Teaching Foreign Languages. After that, God opened the opportunity to come to the US for Graduate School. She got her Ph.D. in Spanish American Literature from The University of Tennesse, Knoxville, in 2004. Then she and her family moved to Nashville, TN and later to Columbus, OH, where they lived for six years.

In Columbus, they joined the Vineyard Church of Columbus. At VCC she started serving with a group of moms with young children, and later co-led a small group of Moms. She started serving at the first campus planted in Dublin, OH (VCC is a church with multiple locations), where she got involved in the Children’s Ministry and the Hospitality Team. At the same time, she attended the Spanish speaking Small Group of VCC, Moviendo Montañas, serving in the Translation/Interpretation Ministry and, eventually, becoming a member of the leadership team. Moviendo Montañas later became what is now La Viña de Columbus, the first Spanish speaking campus of VCC, where Perla became part of the core leadership team and had the opportunity to serve in different areas, such as being part of the Praying Team, leading a Bible Study, and getting to preach occasionally. In the summer of 2015 they moved to the Capital Region and God led them to the Spindle City Vineyard, with a heart to continue growing in Him, serving Him and loving this new community.

Trustee, Kat Corriveau

Kat was born and (mostly) raised in Saco, Maine. Though she accepted Christ as a teen, she did not realize the true meaning of being a Christ-follower until the early 1990's when she found her way to the Vineyard in Lewiston, Maine. Drawn by the worship, nourished by the teaching, and intrigued by the expression of community demonstrated by the body she got serious about her relationship with the Trinity and has been pursuing it ever since.

Starting out her professional career as a Registered Nurse, she found her way to occupational safety and health (coincidentally also in the early 1990's). The field of industry hygiene appealed so much that she went back to school in 1999 for a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science at the University of Maine Farmington, then went out to eastern Idaho in 2004 for a Master's in the same at the University of Idaho. She became a Certified Industrial Hygienist in 2014.

Kat enjoys sharing her gifts of worship and hospitality with the community. Given her druthers, she could be found stream side fly fishing, on the water paddling, in her kitchen playing with the food, or capturing the beauty of creation with her camera.

Trustee, Julie Mazone

Julie was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. She graduated from LeMoyne College with a degree in Accounting and worked in the field for many years.

She first came to the Vineyard in 2003, where her relationship with the Lord grew in ways she could never have imagined. In 2015, Julie came on board as a trustee, engaging her gifts for administering and financial management to help the church steward the resources entrusted to it. She took over as the main administrator in 2016, helping the church to update it's accounting and reporting procedures. It is a joy for her to work alongside her daughter Brittney and son-in-law Tim.

Julie spends her free time with her children, family and friends. She enjoys volunteering, gardening, biking, reading, and breakfast out with good conversation.

Trustee, John Winhold

John was born and raised in Brantford, an industrial town in Ontario, Canada. While attending at the University of Toronto, John met Joan, who became the love of his life. They have three daughters, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. They came to the United States so John could complete his graduate studies in physics at MIT. For many years after, he taught physics at RPI.

His life changed dramatically in the spring of 1975, when the church he was attending held a Witness Weekend. A team of Christians came and shared about how a personal relationship with Jesus had totally transformed their lives. Almost overnight John became a totally-committed follower of Jesus.

He has served for many years as Treasurer and a Board Member for International Accelerated Missions (IAM), and has made many short term missions trips to Kenya, India, and the Dominican Republic. And here at SCV, John has served as a spiritual elder, leading many small groups, prayer groups, and helping guide the church with integrity, following the direction of the Holy Spirit.
